christianity today's feature article is written in regards to the myths of faith based colleges. newsweek's feature article is another interesting read about China being the next super-power, i've been saying this for years, but i seem to see news about China everywhere now, and people are starting to realize it. then i proceeded to relevant mag and saw my very own billy corgan grace its front page and proceeded to read his confessions (billycorgan.com) and am eagerly awaiting his solo debut (which will be like my 30th billy corgan related cd). anyways that's all.

my room is now lime green thanks to sonja, deej and ben, chung took some pictures... the basement is still a huge mess and i filled another two garbage bags full of junk along with the four filled bags prior to this.... but its still a mess! ugh... this is a boring Christmas spent cleaning.

Hey guys, Josh doesn't have an addy book, so instead of sending a mass e-mail he told me to put this up! Enjoy : ) --Lydia.

the past couple of weeks:
after about two hundred hours of travel on trains, buses and taxi's, hiking, plenty of sunburns, exotic species, showering under natural mineral waterfalls, getting sick, tired, losing alot of weight, living in minority villages, seeing the most beautiful sights the human eye could see, meeting a million more friends, family and acquaintances...
we are now safe and relatively healthy in tianjin. this is our final week here and we are extremely busy saying goodbyes and making sure that we offer the most important gifts possible. in about a week, we will depart from beijing to san francisco. after a week in california i will head back to saskatchewan for the fall semester, while sonja will briefly return to ottawa and greet some of you there, prior to returning to london. ;) the last three months have taught us alot, and the past three weeks specifically have quite possibly changed the path
of our lives forever. we have continually noticed that if He is for us, no one can be against us. there is much that i am unable to write at the moment, but would love to tell you when i return - even then, i would not know where or how to begin. if i get the chance i'll upload
a few pictures soon. please continue to think of us... i *hope to see
you all again soon.
